Alstroemeria (patented)

A selection of dwarf varieties (inflorescences about 12" tall).

Select from the following colors: creamy yellow; creamy-pink blush; rose-pink; Orange-red; purple; creamy white; yellow; orange; hot pink; red; wine-red; pink.

If you are looking for a specific named variety, please let me know and I can probably match the name with the correct color.

Be sure to order these varieties early for a full selection of colors.

Alstroemeria Orange Aurea

Weather permitting, these will be back in stock by March.

It has bright orange florets on stems 2 to 3 ft. tall.

A lovely alternate is the Princess dwarf, Isabella. It is more vigorous and thus easier for most gardeners to grow in warm climates. Isabella must be ordered early in the winter months.

Alstroemeria "Cream Burgundy "

This selection has a strong white aspect; the cream seems to come from a white over yellow admixture with burgundy segments on the backsides of the petals.

Alstroemeria "Dusty Rose"

Our most vigorous selection, has dark to light pink (or salmon or coral or rose) florets on stems up to 3 feet tall. The shade depends on the climate. It is vigorous in coastal locations as well as in hot inland valleys in full sun or partial shade where it performs best. It is perennial with stands persisting for over 20 years. The major bloom period in Davis is from April/May through July/August with sporadic flowering through October until the first killing frost.

Alstroemeria "Lavender Blush"

This lavender Alstroemeria is really a group of selections that fit the description of lavender florets with white showing through. It is almost a blush; all are vigorous.

Alstroemeria "Lipstick"

A vigorous, brilliant red selection; bloom height is 2 to 3 ft.

Alstroemeria Magenta Strains

Weather permitting, these will be back in stock by March.

Our two magenta shades of alstroemeria have a bloom period similar to Dusty Rose, although it is perhaps a bit earlier flowering in the spring.

Alstroemeria "Pacific Sunset"

Similar in vigor to Dusty Rose; floret color is mixed red, rose and yellow on stems 2 to 3 ft. tall.

Alstroemeria "Pacific Sunrise"

A near gold selection. Its colors are reminiscent of sunrises near the sea when the skies are free of haze. In flower form and array of hues, it appears related to Pacific Sunset. Stems are 2 to 3 ft. tall.

This selection is very vigorous.

Alstroemeria "Parrot"

A selection from the Brazilian species, A. pulchella, with variegated foliage. Florets are displayed on 2 to 3 ft tall stems

Alstroemeria "Pink Blush"

Essentially equivalent to lavender blush except the dominant pigments are pink. Stems are 2 to 3 ft. tall      

Alstroemeria "Sussex Yellow"

Stems are 2 to 3 ft. tall      

(Sometimes sold as "Sussex Gold" by other vendors, but it shows no gold tints - It's as yellow as any yellow I've ever grown!)

Alstroemeria "Florist's White"

Weather permitting, hese will be back in stock by March.

Nearly white, with pure red specks on 3 ft. tall stems. I’ve seen many names given to this selection. (most recently sold here as "Whitish."
